SandyPines is seeking a dynamic and talented Director of Admissions. SandyPines Residential Treatment Center is a 149-bed Residential Psychiatric Facility servicing children and adolescents ages 5 to 17. The facility is in beautiful South Florida, nestled beside Jonathan Dickinson State Park and just minutes away from the shores of the Atlantic Ocean. Requirements

  • Clinical Master’s degree required, in a Social Services or related field with experience in related field writing reports.
  • One year management experience.
  • Detail oriented and ability to successfully multi task in a fast pace environment.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service and organization skills.
  • Highly effective listening skills.

Responsibilities

  • Receives intake/inquiry calls and makes appropriate disposition concerning potential admissions/assessments to the hospital.
  • Schedules admissions and coordinates with appropriate clinical and/or administrative staff.
  • Understands special needs, behaviors, and assessment techniques of specific age groups, children and adolescents.
  • Assists patients/families and referral sources in locating appropriate alternatives.
  • Consults with administration, finance, nursing staff and physicians as needed on all potential admissions.
