This role elevates occupational health to an enterprise risk discipline ensuring consistent governance, executive visibility, and accountable performance across 48 sites across North America and Latin America. This leader will set the strategy, standards, and operating cadence required to measurably reduce exposure-related risk and liability, lower incident frequency and severity, and strengthen regulatory compliance, while enabling operational continuity. The role will drive execution through industrial hygiene including enterprise exposure risk assessments, monitoring strategies and sampling plans, critical program governance (e.g., chemical hygiene, respiratory protection, and ergonomics). Operating within a lean model, this role influences site teams and external partners while providing direct Safety, Health, Environmental (SHE) support to a defined network of sites.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred in Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, or a closely related discipline.
  • Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) required; additional credentials (e.g., CSP, COHN/COHN-S) a plus.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in occupational health/industrial hygiene, including multi-site leadership and program standardization in complex, regulated environments.
  • Willingness to travel 40%
