About The Position

In this role, you will define the vision, strategy, and execution framework for a large-scale mobile engineering organization delivering high-performance experiences to millions of users. You will oversee multiple iOS, Android, and cross-platform teams, ensuring technical excellence, scalability, and predictable delivery. Partnering closely with senior leaders across Product, Design, and Backend Engineering, you will align mobile initiatives with business priorities and customer needs. This position combines deep technical leadership with people development, operational rigor, and long-term platform strategy. You will play a key role in shaping engineering culture, growing leadership capability, and driving innovation across the mobile ecosystem.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.
• 6+ years of experience in high-growth, large-scale technology environments, with proven success scaling engineering organizations.
• Strong background leading mobile engineering teams delivering large-scale, high-traffic iOS and Android applications.
• Deep technical understanding of mobile architectures, development practices, and platform-specific considerations.
• Experience defining and executing multi-year technology strategies aligned with business goals.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, capacity planning, and organizational growth.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, including executive-level influence.
• Passion for building best-in-class mobile products and cultivating a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop multiple mobile engineering teams across iOS, Android, and cross-platform technologies, fostering a high-performance and inclusive culture.
• Define and execute the mobile engineering strategy in alignment with business objectives, customer needs, and market trends.
• Oversee delivery of all mobile initiatives, ensuring quality, scalability, reliability, and exceptional user experiences.
• Partner with Product, Design, Backend, and Architecture teams to align roadmaps, technology decisions, and platform evolution.
• Drive operational excellence by implementing processes that improve speed, quality, delivery predictability, and technical health.
• Establish and monitor KPIs related to mobile delivery, platform stability, and team performance, using data to guide decisions.
• Mentor senior engineering managers and technical leaders, building strong leadership depth and succession planning.
• Lead recruitment, retention, and organizational scaling efforts, ensuring sustainable team growth and long-term capability.
