Start your Voyage – Profile Summary: The Director of Marketing Technology Strategy develops and implements our comprehensive marketing technology roadmap, with a particular focus on architecture, technology performance, optimization and harnessing the power of AI in marketing. This role leads our marketing technology efforts, drives innovation through emerging technologies, and ensures seamless integration across business systems. Profile Description: Develop and execute a forward-thinking marketing technology strategy and architecture that aligns with our business objectives across Workplace Solutions. Oversee the strategic planning, implementation, and management of key marketing technology platforms, including: Marketing automation platforms, Digital Asset Management platform, Marketing and/or Sales enablement platforms, Webinar technology platforms, and AI-driven marketing tools Lead and mentor a team of marketing technology professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning, particularly in AI and emerging technologies. Represent the voice of Marketing Technology within the Marketing team and own the execution of the Marketing Technology Strategy Work closely with IT and business partners to ensure seamless integration of marketing technology with other business systems, driving efficiency and data-driven decision-making. Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing technologies on an ongoing basis to identify areas for optimization, replacement, sunset, and modern technologies. Stay at the forefront of the latest trends and advancements in marketing technology, with a particular emphasis on AI and machine learning. Drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge through the adoption of emerging technologies. Manage relationships with external technology vendors and partners to ensure alignment with our roadmap and maximize ROI, particularly in the AI and marketing automation spaces. Provide comprehensive training and support to marketing teams on the effective use of marketing technology tools, with a focus on leveraging AI capabilities to drive adoption and efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field such as Marketing or a related discipline.
  • 7+ years experience in marketing technology or management, with a proven track record in a leadership role and overseeing large-scale technology implementation projects.
  • Deep familiarity with various marketing technology stacks including, but not limited to CDP, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and Through Channel Marketing Automation.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills to effectively collaborate across teams and manage direct reports.
  • Comfortable and confident in presenting to all levels of leadership.
  • Proven ability to set and execute a platform strategy and align technology initiatives with overarching business objectives, with a forward-thinking approach to emerging technologies.
  • Data-driven approach to measuring performance, providing insights, and making recommendations for optimization, with the ability to leverage AI-driven analytics tools.
