About The Position

We are seeking a strategic and data-driven Director of Marketing Measurement & Analytics to lead and elevate our marketing measurement capabilities. This role will be instrumental in establishing a robust framework for measuring marketing effectiveness, driving data-informed decisions, and optimizing our marketing investments. You will be the central point of expertise for measurement strategy, working collaboratively with marketing teams and their embedded analyst resources. This role focuses on establishing the overarching measurement framework, setting standards, and providing strategic guidance, ensuring consistent and accurate reporting across the marketing organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, statistics, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in marketing measurement, analytics, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful marketing measurement strategies.
  • Deep understanding of marketing metrics, KPIs, and attribution models.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in marketing analytics tools and technologies (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, data visualization tools).
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing and data structures.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong leadership capabilities and the ability to influence without direct authority.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and Implement Measurement Strategy:
  • Define and implement a comprehensive marketing measurement strategy aligned with overall business objectives.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate marketing campaign and program performance.
  • Develop and maintain a standardized measurement framework and reporting methodology.
  • Drive Data-Driven Decision Making:
  • Provide strategic guidance to marketing teams on measurement best practices and data analysis.
  • Collaborate with marketing analysts to ensure consistent application of measurement methodologies.
  • Translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations for marketing optimization.
  • Champion a culture of data-driven decision-making across the marketing organization.
  • Reporting and Analysis:
  • Oversee the development and delivery of insightful marketing performance reports and dashboards.
  • Analyze marketing data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide regular updates and presentations to senior leadership on marketing performance and measurement initiatives.
  • Technology and Tools:
  • Evaluate and recommend marketing measurement tools and technologies.
  • Collaborate with marketing technology teams to ensure accurate data collection and integration.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in marketing measurement and analytics.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Partner with marketing teams, sales, product, and finance to align on measurement goals and reporting requirements.
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing and best practice dissemination across the marketing organization.
  • Work with the data warehouse team to make sure the needed data is being captured.
