About The Position

The Director Marketing (Health Plans & Government Programs) at Prime Therapeutics leads a team responsible for developing, planning, implementing, and evaluating sales and/or business development marketing strategies. This includes defining audience-appropriate tactics and distribution channels for Prime's clients and/or members. The role requires an integrated and strategic approach to marketing and communications planning, translating the company's business objectives into effective and compelling communications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience; HS diploma or GED is required
  • 8 years of work experience in marketing, with focus on product marketing or new business development
  • 5 years of leadership/people management experience
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship
  • Ability to express ideas clearly both verbally and in writing, paired with strong listening skills
  • Proven track record of leadership capabilities including building morale, developing people and creating positive team dynamics
  • Ability to manage multiple, complex projects simultaneously through ongoing change, without compromising quality
  • Brand development and positioning experience

Nice To Haves

  • Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM), health care or Finance experience
  • Sales and account management experience

Responsibilities

  • Monitor relevant market conditions and trends in order to drive effective messaging and tactics to targeted audiences
  • Lead the planning, implementation and evaluation of strategic sales, product or consumer communication campaigns/plans and materials, including creative design
  • Provide thoughtful team direction and elevate team performance and progress towards reaching business and client goals; clearly communicate roles and expectations
  • Provide writing/editorial expertise in support of driving key messaging and marketing objectives
  • Oversee the prioritization of strategic and department level initiatives and projects
  • Lead a team of marketers to develop and support materials, communications and the cross-functional Request for Proposal (RFP) process
  • Manage staffing, performance and development, and consistently demonstrate Prime's leadership expectations during interactions with direct reports, cross functional and external stakeholders
  • Other duties as assigned
