Job Summary: This role will be integral to building out insights and analytics capabilities within Replimune, and a key contributor to the commercial organization in delivering a successful launch for Replimune’s lead asset RP1 in PD-1 failed melanoma, as well as future indications. In addition, this individual will also work on the broader Replimune portfolio, as well as cross-portfolio topics associated with our oncolytic viral platform such as intra-tumoral injection logistics. This critical role will be expected to work closely with all individuals/teams/functions involved in our asset launches, including senior leaders. This individual will work on key strategic and tactical aspects of successful product commercialization including assessing various partnering and collaboration options and helping to develop and execute the optimal go to market model. Work is expected to span across areas including primary market research, revenue forecasting, competitive intelligence, and data analytics. This position can be based either in our Woburn/Hybrid office or be a remote role Remote candidates (i.e., living beyond 65 miles of our Woburn HQ) must be open to 10-25% travel to our Woburn HQ, every 4-6 weeks or as business needs require.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree ideally in a Life Sciences or related field. Advanced degree strongly preferred
  • 7+ years of experience in the life sciences industry (directly or as a consultant / vendor), including 4+ years working in oncology with recent launch experience
  • 4+ years of primary or secondary research and analytics experience within pharma/biotech with emphasis in oncology therapeutic areas
  • Strategic thinking skills and ability to lead analytical and forecasting efforts for the US/Global markets
  • Strong working knowledge of pharmaceutical data sources and relevant analytical software/tools
  • Able to work cross-functionally and on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity, with an entrepreneurial mind-set and a track record of results
  • Ability to define appropriate methodology for market research projects, consistent with business goals
  • Strong communication, presentation, and indirect influence skills
  • Ample experience effectively managing external agencies/contracts, budgets, and timelines
  • Demonstrated ability to derive insights/analytics leading to the development of innovative and winning business and commercial strategies

Responsibilities

  • Support brand teams as the resident insights and analytics expert
  • Proactively partner with others on the Commercial team to determine the appropriate primary market research studies and secondary data sources that help inform strategy, understanding of the market landscape, and launch performance drivers & barriers
  • Develop and maintain revenue forecasts, including detailed launch forecasts and higher-level pipeline forecasts. As part of this process, identify needs and develop plan for research / analytics required to support key assumptions.
  • Responsible for translating business issues and questions into clearly defined market research and analytics plans
  • Select and manage vendors to execute and analyze research results. Deliver presentations with research conclusions and actionable recommendations.
  • Identify current trends in insights and analytics to drive efficiency and innovation
  • Ensure appropriate primary market research and/or secondary data is conducted to inform KPIs and other metrics reporting pre and post launch
  • Participate and contribute to brand planning and tactical development sessions with the marketing teams
  • Work effectively with home office, field based, and potential alliance partners
  • Provide an objective market viewpoint based on an in-depth understanding and analysis of customer and environmental information to ensure key strategic and tactical business questions are addressed
