The Director, Interim Housing position will collaborate with the Senior Director to provide leadership and management of the project. They will oversee and manage the completion of all contractual deliverables, ensuring they are met, if not exceeded, through close oversight of program staff and their work, and ensuring compliance with documentation standards. The Director will manage Program Managers and provide guidance and support to all team members. They will provide crisis intervention for clients when necessary, and ensure timely resolution of client complaints. They will work with all department managers and the Senior Director to ensure that the physical site is well-maintained and safe. The Director will cultivate a healthy, supportive team environment that allows all team members to thrive and demonstrate a strong sense of responsibility for the site and lead by example. They will develop effective, trusting relationships with clients using a client-centered approach that includes motivational interviewing and coach staff to do the same. The Director will champion harm reduction and trauma-informed care. They will provide on-call coverage for emergencies, when needed. They will assist with preparing data for reports to funders, and track other data as needed. They will ensure implementation of agency policies and procedures. They will facilitate individual and group meetings as needed/assigned. They will provide oversight of the daily operations of shelter and assist with the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and systems necessary to maintain high-quality services and to ensure adequate outcomes. The Director will lead projects as assigned and work independently to ensure completion. They will communicate effectively, and in a timely manner, with management, peers, collaborators, and clients. They will collaborate with other agency programs to provide greater support and assistance to clients. They will maintain client confidentiality at all times, while following agency, state, and HIPAA laws. They will ensure that the site provides a robust enrichment program for clients. They will assist with the budget, procurement, and ordering and stocking of supplies, according to site needs. They will create and coordinate staff schedules based on site needs.
