About The Position

The Director, Intake and Planning role will lead a team responsible for discovery, intake, and planning activities for the Workplace Solutions Data Analytics and Reporting team. You will provide people leadership, subject matter expertise, and direction on complex initiatives that support Group Protection and Retirement Plan Services business. The team’s assessments, analysis, and recommendations will shape future projects and ensure alignment with business needs and priorities.What you'll be doing• Leads and develops a high performing intake and planning function, providing strategic direction, coaching, and oversight to ensure consistent, high-quality outcomes and team effectiveness. • Owns enterprise intake and planning strategy, establishing priorities, performance goals, and portfolio visibility to ensure initiatives are aligned to business objectives, capacity, and strategic value. • Directs the evaluation of new project requests, ensuring rigorous analysis of business needs, feasibility, resource requirements, risks, and timeline impacts before advancing recommendations. • Partners with senior leaders and cross functional stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, data and reporting needs, and expected outcomes through structured discovery and intake processes. • Serves as a subject matter expert and escalation point for complex initiatives, translating high level business needs into clear, well governed requirements and actionable recommendations. • Drives continuous improvement and change management, modernizing intake processes, strengthening governance and documentation standards, and incorporating emerging trends to enhance planning and decision making

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in project management, business analysis, or intake/planning work directly aligned to the specific duties for this role, including 3+ years of managerial, supervisory, and/or demonstrated leadership experience.
  • 4 year/Bachelor’s degree or equivalent 4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor’s
