The contributions you will make: This position is responsible for the strategic direction, operational excellence, and service delivery of enterprise infrastructure across Hosting, Network/Telephony, and Workplace experience. The incumbent leads three dedicated product teams and ensures that infrastructure services are secure, scalable, resilient, and aligned with business needs. Drives infrastructure modernization, enhances user experience, and leads the design and delivery of infrastructure solutions that support the broader BT and enterprise strategies. Provides strong, values-based leadership, fosters a high-performing team culture, and ensures effective service management, execution of roadmaps, and alignment with business outcomes. A typical day: Strategic Leadership and Execution Champions the translation of enterprise and BT strategies into actionable infrastructure roadmaps across Hosting, Network/Telephony, and Workplace Experience domains. Leads the development and execution of modernization efforts including cloud transitions, network transformation, and digital workplace initiatives. Ensures infrastructure design and service delivery are customer centric, secure, reliable, and scalable. Evaluates and integrates emerging technologies (i.e, cloud-native services, unified communications, zero trust networking, AI enhanced support) that improve infrastructure performance and value. Partners with BT leadership, security, and application teams to ensure infrastructure capabilities meet current and future business needs. Team Leadership Provides day-to-day leadership and coaching to three product teams (Hosting, Network/Telephony, Workplace Experience), empowering product owners, engineers, and operations team members. Builds and sustains a high-performing, collaborative, and inclusive team culture aligned with organizational values. Develops talent and succession plans, ensuring appropriate skills and capabilities are in place to support evolving technologies. Promotes accountability and continuous improvement through goal setting, performance management, and career development. Fosters strong cross-functional partnerships with security, service desk, enterprise architecture, and business units. Selects, develops, motivates, coaches, and evaluates, trains and rewards department team members. Promotes a positive work environment that leverages the talents and abilities of team members in achieving organizational and team goals. Determines and effectively communicates performance standards and develop. Infrastructure Operations and Service Delivery Ensures reliable, efficient, and secure operation of infrastructure services including data center, cloud platforms, voice/data networks, unified communications, and end-user experience. Establishes and monitors SLAs, KPIs, and service metrics for all infrastructure domains. Drives proactive problem management and incident resolution to ensure minimal business disruption. Budget and Vendor Management Manages operational and capital budgets for infrastructure domains; aligns investments with strategic priorities and cost optimization goals. Oversees vendor relationships, contracts, and performance for infrastructure services, hardware, and support providers. Identifies opportunities for cost savings, efficiencies, and innovation through vendor partnerships and contract negotiations
