About your role: You will be a key leader in our organization, overseeing a talented software development team dedicated to delivering cutting-edge software solutions for Fiserv’s Output Solutions. In this role, you will drive the development strategy and ensure alignment with our company's goals and objectives. With production capabilities leading the industry in credit card personalization, you will harness multiple technologies and software to deliver exceptional products to our customers.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in software development.
  • 3+ years of experience as a people manager.
  • Proven track record of leading successful software development projects from conception to delivery.
  • Strong technical expertise in software development methodologies, programming languages, and software architecture.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a relevant field, and/or equivalent military experience.
  • You must currently possess valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization to be considered for this role. Individuals with temporary visas including, but not limited to, F‑1 (OPT, CPT, STEM), H‑1B, H‑2, or TN, or any candidate requiring sponsorship, now or in the future, will not be considered.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in credit card personalization or output services industry.
  • Master’s degree in computer science or a relevant field.
  • Experience working in Agile development environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a group of 15 distributed software developers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to drive high performance.
  • Develop and implement software development processes, standards, and best practices to ensure efficiency and quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management and IT, to define software requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement in software development practices and technologies.
  • Manage software development projects, including planning, resource allocation, and tracking progress to ensure timely delivery.
  • Stay current with industry trends and technologies to make recommendations for software architecture and development tools.
