About your role: You will be a key leader in our organization, overseeing a talented software development team dedicated to designing, developing, delivering and maintaining cutting-edge mobile applications for Fiserv’s Output Solutions in Money Network. In this role, you will drive the development strategy and ensure alignment with our company's goals and objectives. With production capabilities leading the industry in prepaid card delivery, you will harness multiple technologies and software to deliver exceptional products to our customers.

Requirements

  • 9+ years of experience in software development.
  • 3+ years of experience as a people manager.
  • Proven track record of leading successful software development projects from conception to delivery.
  • Strong technical expertise in software development methodologies, programming languages, and software architecture.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a relevant field, and/or equivalent military experience.
  • Strong experience with JavaScript / TypeScript and React Native.
  • Understanding of mobile UI/UX standards.
  • Familiarity with native iOS (Swift/Objective‑C) / Android (Java/Kotlin) development.
  • Strong knowledge of REST integrations.
  • Version control using Git.
  • Experience with automated tests and related frameworks.
  • Knowledge of app store submission and release processes.
  • Ownership mindset & ability to work independently
  • Exposure to security best practices for mobile applications.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in credit card, payments, or output services industry.
  • Master’s degree in computer science or a relevant field.
  • Experience working in Agile development environment.
  • Familiarity with cloud services (Azure, AWS, Firebase).
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a group of up to 15 distributed software developers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to drive high performance.
  • Develop and maintain mobile applications using React Native for iOS and Android platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management and IT, to define software requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
  • Manage software development projects, including planning, resource allocation, and tracking progress to ensure timely delivery.
  • Implement clean, efficient, and reusable code following best practices and best practices to ensure efficiency and quality and collaborate with designers, product managers, developers & testers.
  • Integrate REST APIs and third‑party libraries and optimize applications for performance, stability, cyber security, resiliency, and responsiveness.
  • Lead code reviews and enforce coding standards and contribute to architectural and design decisions.
  • Optimize team’s use of CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment and ensure team remediates all Vulnerabilities on time, own & close findings from SDLC Audits etc.
