We have an opportunity at our corporate offices in Chicago for a Director II Product Management (Hybrid) on our Publishing team. This is a hybrid position reporting into our Chicago, IL office, requiring 3 days a week in the office. This role represents the “Voice of the User” and “Voice of the Customer” for platform and product development within the JAMA Network digital portfolio. This role will develop and execute platform management and improvement strategy for JAMA Network, the flagship medical journal JAMA and 12 other leading peer review publications. The role will research and educate leadership on new technologies (AI and other new approaches) to support the periodical publishing business, manage platform and development vendors, ideate and develop web sites, seek investment and enhance online products, grow engagement and revenue, optimize workflows and costs, mitigate risks, and improve organizational culture and sustainability. This role also responds to the needs of external advertising, licensing, and institutional customers through support operations and new development.
