About The Position

The Director of Human Resources is a senior leader responsible for setting and executing the organization’s people strategy in support of long term business growth. This role provides strategic direction, governance, and leadership for all HR functions including talent strategy, organizational design, mergers and acquisitions, compliance, total rewards, and workforce development. The Director of HR partners closely with executive leadership to build scalable systems, standardized policies, and a high performing culture while ensuring regulatory compliance across all operating regions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required
  • 10 plus years of progressive HR experience with significant experience in HR leadership roles
  • Proven experience leading HR strategy in growth oriented or multi entity organizations
  • Direct experience supporting mergers and acquisitions, including pre and post integration activities
  • Deep knowledge of employment law, compliance governance, and HR best practices
  • Demonstrated success building scalable HR systems, policies, and operating models
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to align people strategy to financial and operational goals
  • Executive level communication, influence, and decision making skills
  • High integrity, sound judgment, and the ability to lead through change

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree or HR certification preferred
  • Global HR experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Set and own the enterprise HR strategy aligned to business objectives and multi year growth plans
  • Develop three to four year HR roadmaps and lead execution through the HR team and cross functional partners
  • Serve as the HR lead for mergers and acquisitions including due diligence, workforce integration, change management, and policy harmonization
  • Design, approve, and oversee companywide HR policies, procedures, and standard operating processes, including attendance and call off policies
  • Provide executive level oversight of talent acquisition strategy, workforce planning, and organizational scaling initiatives
  • Oversee compliance governance including DOT, employment law, and regulatory requirements across all operating jurisdictions
  • Lead total rewards strategy including benefits design, vendor selection, financial oversight, and compliance governance
  • Guide leadership on performance management frameworks, succession planning, and leadership development
  • Establish training and development strategies including compliance training, leadership development, and external funding opportunities
  • Ensure consistent employee experience and risk mitigation through governance of employee relations, investigations, and disciplinary frameworks
  • Own HR technology strategy including HRIS optimization, data governance, and reporting
  • Partner with Finance and Operations on headcount planning, labor cost forecasting, and productivity initiatives
  • Build, lead, and develop the HR team, setting strategic priorities, performance expectations, and professional development plans
  • Act as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on organizational risk, culture, and workforce decisions
  • Represent HR in executive planning, audits, and external agency interactions as required
