The Director, HR Technology Solutions (HRTS) along with the VP of HRTS provides enterprise leadership for the strategy, governance, and delivery of HR technology platforms that enable StandardAero’s global workforce and business objectives. This role is accountable for defining and executing aspects of the HR technology roadmap, ensuring scalable, secure, and compliant systems that support talent, payroll, workforce planning, analytics, and employee experience across a complex, multi-region environment. The Director partners closely with HR, IT, Finance, Legal, and business leaders to modernize HR capabilities, drive data-informed decision-making, and ensure reliable delivery of HR solutions and programs. This role is both strategic and hands-on. As part of the HRTS leadership team you will provide support, problem solve, guide and partner with third party manage services, process design, lead projects, sponsor projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in HR technology, HRIS, or enterprise systems leadership.
  • Proven experience leading large-scale, global HR technology implementations or transformations.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and data across the employee lifecycle.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional, enterprise-wide initiatives.
  • Excellent executive-level communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with HRTS platforms such as Dayforce, SAP Success Factors, Workday, or Oracle. Modular integration experience is a plus.
  • Experience in aerospace, manufacturing, defense, or other highly regulated industries.
  • Experience supporting global payroll and complex regulatory environments.
  • Familiarity with data privacy regulations and information security standards.
  • Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, HRIS, change management)
  • Experience with SOX compliance/controls
  • Experiencing with managing budgets, vendors, implementing new solutions, and negotiations

Responsibilities

  • Define and lead aspects of the HR technology strategy and roadmap aligned with StandardAero’s business and people strategies. Responsibilities will include various aspects of Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Audits and Compliance, HRTS Servicedesk, and other potential Centers of Excellences (COEs).
  • Establish governance, standards, and operating models for HR systems, data, integrations, and vendor management.
  • Serve as the executive sponsor for major HR technology initiatives and transformations.
  • Own core HR platforms and supporting systems (e.g., talent acquisition, learning and development, workforce management, service management, etc.).
  • Ensure reliable, secure, and compliant system operations across global regions.
  • Oversee system implementations, upgrades, integrations, and enhancements, managing scope, risk, budget, and timelines.
  • Drive the development of standardized HR data models, reporting, and analytics capabilities.
  • Enable consistent, high-quality people data to support workforce planning, compliance, and executive decision-making.
  • Partner with HR and IT to advance predictive and strategic workforce analytics.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to HR leadership on technology-enabled solutions and process design.
  • Collaborate with IT on architecture, cybersecurity, and enterprise system alignment.
  • Partner with Legal, Compliance, and Privacy teams to ensure regulatory adherence (e.g., data privacy, labor, export controls where applicable).
  • Lead and develop a high-performing HRTS team, including Managers, Analysts, and Program Leaders.
  • Build internal capability through clear role design, succession planning, and continuous development.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and customer-focused delivery.
  • Manage the related HRTS budget, including capital and operating expenditures.
  • Lead vendor selection, contract negotiations, performance management, and renewals.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize cost, reduce complexity, and improve return on investment.
  • Ensure strong change management, communications, and training to drive adoption of HR technologies.
  • Measure success through adoption metrics, user experience feedback, and business outcomes.
