JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 JOB SUMMARY: The Director of Hospital-Based Services will oversee and direct the practice management support for all of the hospital-based services employed by St. Tammany Physicians Network (STPN). This position will work in collaboration with physician dyad partners, STPN administrative colleagues and the STPN providers to ensure a high performing and efficient practice.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in health-related field required, Master’s preferred
• 5-years of progressive responsibility and experience in medical practice management with demonstrated success required.
• Strong provider relation skills along with knowledge and experience in financial management and coding regulations.
• Strong commitment to teamwork and quality patient care is required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Strategic planning expertise
• Ability to work collaboratively and transparently with cross-functional stakeholders across the health system organization in order to deliver results
• Strong project and program management skills; demonstrated track record of leading cross-functional initiatives
• Strong team leadership, change management, and consensus building skills
• Complies with/obeys all health system and departmental policies and procedures
• Ability to build trust and consensus, lead change, and activate support among diverse stakeholder groups
• High tolerance for complex, ambiguous, and constantly changing environment
• Strong customer service skills and patient-centered attitude
• Successful influencer who can effectively interact with diverse groups of stakeholders, including physicians, health care administration, payers, and clinical staff
• Must possess good physical health.
• Some requirements include but are not limited to standing, sitting or walking for long periods of time.
• Lifting up to 10 pounds is required.
