About The Position

This role leads the development and execution of health economics, outcomes research, and market access strategies to optimize patient outcomes and access to priority therapies. The Director, HEOR Product Lead will design and implement evidence-based approaches across pricing, reimbursement, and healthcare systems to inform product strategies from early proof-of-concept through full launch. Working cross-functionally with global and regional teams, you will ensure that payer and healthcare system perspectives are integrated into actionable plans that drive value and facilitate access. This role combines strategic vision, technical expertise, and leadership, enabling the creation of robust HEOR evidence packages and influencing external stakeholders to achieve optimal patient and business outcomes. You will also mentor and guide teams, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.

Requirements

  • Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD/PharmD preferred) in health economics, statistics, epidemiology, health policy, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in pharma or healthcare, with demonstrated expertise in health economics, outcomes research, market access, and evidence generation.
  • Strong knowledge of US healthcare financing, payer environment, and evolving access and reimbursement landscape.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute HEOR and RWE strategies, including study design, modeling, data analysis, and evidence synthesis.
  • Strategic thinker with experience integrating scientific, market, and payer insights into actionable product strategies.
  • Outstanding collaboration and leadership skills, with experience guiding cross-functional teams and influencing global and regional stakeholders.
  • Adaptable, results-oriented, and able to drive initiatives in a dynamic environment with complex priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical and scientific concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% as required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver comprehensive HEOR, pricing, HTA, and payer evidence strategies, including global value dossiers, cost-effectiveness and budget impact models, PRO/PCO strategies, and access-enabling studies.
  • Ensure alignment of evidence plans with payer and healthcare system needs to support reimbursement, pricing, and access decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate HEOR insights into product strategies and facilitate in-country reimbursement submissions.
  • Partner with regional and country teams to oversee local launch preparations, payer interactions, and access initiatives.
  • Engage with external stakeholders, including payers, SOCs, universities, and regulatory agencies, to gather insights and inform strategic decisions.
  • Maintain expertise in outcomes research, real-world evidence, and HEOR methodologies, providing thought leadership within the therapeutic area.
  • Mentor and develop teams, promoting best practices and fostering a high-performing, collaborative environment.
