About The Position

Stratis Group is looking for an individual to lead and continue to build our company’s growing HEOR consulting practice. Stratis Group conducts a substantial magnitude of analytics, literature review, and other research for HEOR clients in the biopharma industry, and the company is now turning its attention to supplementing its capabilities in the areas of evidence generation and study planning & design. This is a senior, client-facing role designed for an experienced HEOR leader who can thrive in ambiguity, think strategically, and bring their previous expertise to client interactions and recommendations.

Requirements

  • Advanced degree in Health Economics, Outcomes Research, Epidemiology, Public Health, Biostatistics, or related field.
  • Background in the pharmaceutical industry or biopharma consulting.
  • Technical expertise - able to design and lead creative research projects in HEOR and ensure a technically and scientifically rigorous HEOR approach.
  • A history of publication in peer-reviewed journals.
  • 8 – 10+ years of experience in HEOR.
  • Demonstrated success in supporting cross-functional client-facing workstreams.
  • Outstanding project management, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Experience preparing materials for executive and client audiences (decks, reports, etc). Demonstrated ability to create compelling stories with PowerPoint or insights with reports / visuals.
  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
  • Experience working directly with clients and supporting high-stakes external initiatives.
  • Strong emotional intelligence, confidentiality, and ability to manage relationships at all levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

  • Effectively communicate HEOR and RWE strategies to clients, translating complex analyses into actionable recommendations.
  • Lead discussions with clients to interpret data, evidence gaps, insights, and align on recommended next steps.
  • Serve as a trusted HEOR advisor, providing direct support to clients and guiding internal, client-facing teams on projects related to HEOR.
  • Facilitate development of client proposals and support teams in project design and deliverable development.
  • Lead the development of integrated HEOR and RWE generation strategies, including evidence gap maps, proof-point hierarchies, and multi-year roadmaps.
  • Define payer-relevant value narratives and align evidence plans to support pricing, reimbursement, and access objectives.
  • Highly experienced in the planning and execution of HEOR evidence generation studies, including prospective and retrospective observational studies, cost-effective analyses and budget impact models, indirect treatment comparisons, COA strategy, PRO measure development and validation.
  • Ability to assess evidence gaps leading up to a biopharma launch and develop and defend an appropriate evidence generation plan.
  • Background in COA measurement strategy; experience in PRO development/validation and qualitative research methodology.
  • Knowledge of the US market, as well as global health technology appraisal requirements
  • Knowledge of clinical development, with the ability to identify evidence gaps and formulate evidence generation strategies.
