About The Position

This key leadership role is responsible for significantly accelerating revenue and margin expansion across our North American pest control operations. The Director will serve as the expert on our current go-to-market approach, continuously seeking opportunities to unlock new value and defining the strategic innovation pipeline for future services. A critical requirement is a sharp Return on Investment (RoI) mindset—balancing the relentless pursuit of maximizing customer value with the optimization of company financial performance. This position requires an influential leader prepared to challenge existing norms and introduce innovative thinking. Success hinges on a proven ability to think strategically, conduct rigorous analysis, and implement solutions with speed and practicality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field OR equivalent years of experience. Equivalent years of experience are defined as one year of applicable professional experience for each year of college requested.
  • 10+ years in Strategic Planning, Corporate Development, or Management Consulting, with a track record of scaling businesses.
  • 5+ years in a leadership or consulting role.
  • Proven track record of developing multi-year business cycles focused on growing revenue and margin (e.g., 3-year strategic plans or AOP development).
  • Experience in a recurring revenue business is required; experience in pest control, home services, or a similar subscription-based industry is a strong plus.
  • Demonstrated success in using operational and financial analysis and modelling to drive strategy.
  • Deep understanding of financial implications, market opportunities, and the unit economics of the pest control/service industry.
  • Ability to perform complex financial modeling and synthesize market research into actionable "plays."
  • Ability to use complex data sets to inform decision-making and project future trends.
  • Ability to make progress and decisions in the absence of perfect data.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional peers and lead without formal authority.
  • Proven ability to lead organizational change and manage resources through transformation.
  • Deep understanding of retail/consumer goods dynamics, supply chain flow, and merchandising.
  • Advanced skills in analytical tools and presentation software to "share and explain the vision" for the business.
  • Mastery of Excel/Google Sheets (data modeling) and PowerPoint/Google Slides (strategic storytelling).
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or specialized Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software is a plus.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple overlapping timelines across different markets simultaneously.

  • AOP execution: Support the VP to set AOPs that deliver year-on-year revenue and margin growth and enable the multi-year strategy.
  • Bidirectional Alignment: Work with in-year execution leaders to ensure that in-year calendars reflect the multi-year intent, while simultaneously adjusting the strategy to account for current market realities.
  • Innovation & Pipeline Ownership Product Roadmap: Work with innovation partners and field leaders to set the multi-year innovation intent, identifying white-space opportunities for growth.
  • Capability Transformation: Lead "cross-cutting" capability projects (e.g., digital transformation, new service lines) that sit outside the normal seasonal rhythm but are essential to making the strategic intent real.
  • Performance & Accountability KPI Scorecarding: Drive the development of the organizational KPI scorecard as a primary client, ensuring the business is measuring what matters most.
  • Business Analysis: Continuously assess market dynamics, competitor movements, and internal performance to identify threats and growth areas.
