About the Role: The Director, Global Commercial Solutions is a senior commercial marketing leader responsible for shaping the global strategy for how we position, package, and commercialize our solutions across markets. This role leads a team of Global Commercial Solutions Managers and plays a critical role in driving commercial excellence, solution-based selling, and global go‑to‑market alignment. This leader will define the global solutions commercialization vision, orchestrate cross-functional teams, and ensure that markets have the strategies, narratives, and playbooks needed to win with customers. The Director acts as the strategic connector between product, marketing, sales, and regions—ensuring our solutions deliver differentiated, customer-centric value globally.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in commercial marketing, solutions marketing, downstream marketing, or GTM strategy roles.
  • 5+ years leading teams in global or matrixed organizations.
  • Strong track record in developing and deploying global commercialization strategies.
  • Expertise in solution-based or value-based selling models.
  • Exceptional communication, influencing, and storytelling skills.
  • Experience managing across cultures, geographies, and cross-functional teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a related advanced degree.
  • Experience in industries with complex, multi-product or integrated solution offerings.
  • Background in both global headquarters and regional/commercial field roles.
  • Demonstrated success in large-scale change leadership or commercial transformation initiatives

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Global Commercial Solutions Managers responsible for building and deploying commercial strategies and solution playbooks.
  • Foster a culture of strategic thinking, commercial acumen, collaboration, and excellence in execution.
  • Set clear priorities, allocate resources, and ensure strong team alignment with global and regional commercial objectives.
  • Own the global commercialization strategy and solution-level value propositions across priority segments and markets.
  • Establish clear solution positioning, messaging frameworks, and narratives that elevate solutions beyond individual products.
  • Provide strategic leadership on how solutions integrate products, services, analytics, and expertise to address customer needs.
  • Oversee and support the creation of global go-to-market strategies, commercial frameworks, and solution-based selling playbooks.
  • Ensure global consistency while enabling market-level customization and agility.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment with product teams, marketing, sales enablement, regional leaders, and commercial operations.
  • Guide the development of sales enablement assets, discovery tools, competitive frameworks, and customer-facing materials that support solution-led selling.
  • Partner with Sales Excellence to ensure sales teams globally are trained, equipped, and capable of articulating solution value.
  • Lead global launch planning and orchestrate cross-regional activation of new or enhanced solutions.
  • Collaborate with insights, analytics, and competitive teams to understand solution performance, customer needs, and growth opportunities.
  • Use quantitative and qualitative insights to continually refine strategies and drive commercial impact.
  • Track global adoption and performance of solution playbooks, identifying opportunities to scale best practices.
  • Serve as the strategic voice for solutions marketing in global leadership forums.
  • Build strong partnerships across product, regional marketing, sales, pricing, communications, and customer experience teams.
  • Ensure globally aligned, customer-centric commercial strategies that support long-term growth objectives.
