About The Position

Integrated Student Lending is an important new innovation that provides a key driver of growth for Pilotbase’s customers. Scaling the Integrated Student Lending offering is a core growth initiative for Pilotbase heading into 2026 and beyond. We need a dedicated, sales‑driven owner focused on maximizing customer sign‑ups and loan application volume across our entire customer base. This role exists to ensure that Integrated Student Lending is consistently prioritized, effectively sold, and operationally supported. In short, the primary purpose of this role is to drive Integrated Student Lending adoption and loan volume at scale. This person will act as both a commercial owner and internal quarterback — aligning teams, unblocking customers, and pushing lending performance forward. This role is both commercially driven and operationally aware. The Flight Ops Financing Director will wear many hats, work across several teams, and be accountable for driving measurable growth in Integrated Student Lending adoption and loan applications. Success in this role means helping customers win and ensuring Integrated Student Lending reaches its full potential as a core revenue driver for the business.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in a sales-driven, commercial role with a proven track record of driving measurable growth in customer adoption of integrated SaaS solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to act as a commercial owner effectively coordinating cross-functional teams to remove operational blockers and optimize go-to-market funnels.
  • “Customer First” approach to operating, with strong experience in account management, including proactive customer engagement and relationship building with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Data-driven decision approach to making decisions.
  • Usage of AI tools to improve efficiency and outcomes.

Nice To Haves

  • Subject matter expertise in student lending offerings, workflows, and best practices, enabling the candidate to serve as a trusted advisor to customers.
  • Background or exposure to the aviation industry or aviation software (experience working with flight schools or aviation operations is a plus)

Responsibilities

  • Drive Integrated Student Lending Growth & Adoption
  • Own Integrated Student Lending performance across assigned accounts and segments, with a primary focus on customer sign‑ups and loan application volume.
  • Proactively engage customers to position Integrated Student Lending as a core value driver for their business.
  • Partner closely with CS to support upsell and expansion opportunities involving Integrated Student Lending.
  • Optimize the Integrated Student Lending Go‑to‑Market Funnel
  • Identify friction points in the lending funnel and work cross‑functionally to remove blockers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within customer accounts to accelerate decision‑making and the application process.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert on Integrated Student Lending offerings, workflows, and best practices.
