About The Position

With a strong market presence, proven infrastructure, and consistent inbound deal flow, we support businesses across the U.S. by matching them with the right lending partners efficiently and compliantly. This role is designed for an experienced equipment finance professional who already understands the lender landscape and wants to focus on placing deals. We are hiring one Equipment Financing Specialist / Loan Broker to join our team in-office at one of our three locations. This is a network-driven role. You will be provided with qualified, live deal flow and will be responsible for leveraging your existing relationships with equipment finance lenders to structure, place, and close transactions efficiently. Your success will depend heavily on your ability to navigate lender credit boxes, maintain strong lender relationships, and expand our lender network over time. Your focus is execution, placement, and relationship leverage.

Requirements

  • A proven, existing network of equipment financing lender relationships
  • Demonstrated experience successfully placing equipment finance deals (hard assets, soft costs, vehicles, machinery, etc.)
  • Strong working knowledge of: Equipment finance products Credit tiers and lender underwriting criteria Documentation and funding processes
  • Ability to quickly match deals to the right lender based on structure and risk
  • Excellent relationship management, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work in-office at one of the following locations: Southfield, MI Century City, CA Encino, CA

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with multiple lender types (independent finance companies, banks, captives, specialty lenders)
  • Background in commercial lending, loan brokerage, or structured finance
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple active transactions

Responsibilities

  • Leverage your existing network of equipment financing lenders to place inbound, qualified deals
  • Structure and submit transactions to appropriate lenders based on credit profile, collateral, and terms
  • Maintain active relationships with equipment finance companies, banks, captives, and specialty lenders
  • Expand the lender network by developing new lender relationships aligned with company deal flow
  • Manage deal flow from submission through approval, documentation, and funding
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between borrowers and lenders throughout the transaction
  • Track lender appetite, underwriting criteria, pricing, and turnaround times
  • Collaborate internally with underwriting, processing, and leadership to maximize close rates
