More about our team The Director of Finance- IRF supports and trains hospital Directors of Finance as well as assisting the AVPs and VP of Finance with various projects. Directs the department's activities and resources to ensure alignment with the mission, values, and objectives of the department and organization.

Requirements

  • Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree required; Bachelor degree in Finance, Business or Accounting preferred with 8 yrs of finance or accounting experience/ healthcare experience preferred with a strong background in financial budgeting , problem solving and proven leadership
  • You must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and implements departmental goals, plans, and standards that meet requirements/objectives of the organization.
  • Directs and evaluates departmental operations to achieve performance and quality control objectives.
  • Plans and monitors staffing activities, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives.
  • Prepares, monitors, and evaluates departmental budgets, and ensures that the department operates in compliance with allocated funding.
  • Coordinates and directs internal/external audits.
  • Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth.
  • Ensures department stays focused on their important role in the continuum of care.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned
