About The Position

Primary responsibility for supporting all financial aspects of practice operations for the Company’s regions under responsibility; thoroughly understanding the results of operations for practices under responsibility; supporting regional operations personnel with analysis of financial results and driving improvements in results of operations. Presents monthly financial results, summarizing both successful items and items warranting improvement. Responsible for preparing monthly physician compensation allocations. Supports the Vice President of Finance in all efforts to foster the growth of the organization and ad-hoc projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • BS, Finance or Accounting required
  • 7 years of experience in finance/accounting roles
  • Knowledge of or aptitude for learning complex financial models
  • Proficiency in MS Office Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook required.

Nice To Haves

  • Past physician practice experience ideal
  • Experience with Prophix is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Reports Ad Hoc Reports Provide support from time to time with “ad hoc” reports and data assembly for inter-department use and for other AON departments as well.
  • Analyze company financial results with respect to profits, trends, costs, compliance issues and cash needs.
  • Review and present monthly financial reports for each AON practice as assigned along with comprehensive analysis of each practice as assigned.
  • Assist in preparing provider compensation models in alignment with compensation agreements and coordinate with Sr VP Operations team and Payroll team to enact payments on a monthly basis or quarterly basis as applicable.
  • Manage relationships with other department leaders to promote collaboration in areas not limited to but including revenue cycle, insurance needs, payroll and human services.
  • Develop analysis criteria with benchmarks and timelines for monthly work- flow.
