About the Team The Director, Healthcare Services Sales will lead a high-performing team responsible for the Medium Enterprise and Customer Base activities within an $80M+ Healthcare services practice. You will be a key member of the services sales leadership team, partnering closely with Healthcare Delivery to expand offerings, improve profitability, and create new revenue streams while helping the team exceed targets. About the Role The role’s primary responsibility is to demonstrate your experience in consulting sales and project delivery to help prospects and customers put together a plan for a successful project, including resources, timeline, and costs. You and your team will be employing effective selling strategies to successfully position Workday’s SaaS solutions as the cost effective, modern alternative. Your team will be required to be an authority in Workday’s innovative deployment methodology. You will work closely with Workday services partners to help them plan successful projects and grow their business. Requirements

  • 5+ years of management experience, with a track record of leading teams in a high-growth environment.
  • 5+ years of proven experience in professional services sales.
  • 10+ years of experience in Financial, SCM, or ERP consulting projects .
  • Experience managing or supporting a practice with $40M - $80M+ in services bookings.
  • Excellent executive written, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

  • Practice Leadership & Profitability: Lead a team supporting a $80M+ services practice. Partner with Delivery leadership to expand service offerings, improve practice profitability, and generate new revenue streams through disciplined pipeline execution.
  • Customer Reference Development: Actively cultivate and manage trusted advisor relationships with existing customers to build a robust portfolio of advocates. Leverage these references strategically to validate delivery success and accelerate new services and subscription sales cycles for prospective accounts.
  • AI & Sales Innovation: Lead the adoption of AI-driven tools and methodologies to enhance team productivity. Drive the use of AI for improved forecasting accuracy, automated content generation for proposals, and data-driven account insights, ensuring the team focuses their time on high-value selling activities.
  • Deal Strategy & Customer Value: Collaborate with account teams to scope risk, align services, and accelerate time-to-customer-value. Enable the broader services sales team to position the strategic value of the deployment methodology early in the cycle.
  • Ecosystem & Quota Balance: Strategically align the team to meet services bookings quotas while actively identifying opportunities to leverage certified partners.
  • Enablement & Team Development: Go beyond hiring to actively develop people and programs. Mentor Services Executives, codify best practices, and work with Sales and Delivery to scale team capabilities.
  • Escalation Management: Handle customer critical issues and provide executive guidance to internal teams to ensure successful deployments and customer satisfaction.
  • Dynamic Forecasting: Lead daily and weekly activities to ensure above-quota results, maintaining accurate forecast data in a high-change environment.
