About the Role The Director, Field Operations & Execution partners closely with the EVP of Growth to drive disciplined execution of growth initiatives across the organization. This role is accountable for turning priorities into action by coordinating work across teams, driving follow-through, and ensuring initiatives are implemented consistently in the field. Success in this role is measured by execution quality, adoption, and results — not just plans. The Director, Field Operations & Execution operates hands-on in the work, removing obstacles, reinforcing accountability, and keeping initiatives moving from concept to completion.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of professional experience, with direct experience in the financial services industry required.
  • Project Management: Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and execute multiple initiatives simultaneously, meeting deadlines and ensuring quality outcomes.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to work with data—extracting, manipulating, and interpreting it to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create executive-ready presentations and reports.
  • Influence & Leadership: Proven ability to influence and build alignment across diverse teams and stakeholders, even without direct authority.
  • Collaboration: Track record of effective cross-functional collaboration, building strong working relationships across departments.
  • Problem Solving: Resourceful and proactive in identifying issues, proposing solutions, and driving continuous improvement.
  • Technical Proficiency: Comfortable with project management platforms, data tools (Excel, Salesforce), and presentation software.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Field Project Execution • Own the end-to-end execution of field growth initiatives, partnering closely with Operations team leaders to ensure programs are operationally sound, scalable, and ready for field adoption.
  • Translate leadership priorities into clear execution plans with defined scope, owners, timelines, and success measures.
  • Maintain and continuously improve the project and execution management system to provide real-time visibility into initiative status, dependencies, and deliverables.
  • Provide regular execution updates to the EVP of Growth and other stakeholders, highlighting progress, risks, blockers, and required decisions.
  • Identify execution risks and operational constraints early and proactively work with partners to remove roadblocks and keep initiatives moving forward.
  • Lead execution planning sessions and post-initiative reviews to strengthen delivery discipline and improve future rollouts.
  • Provide matrix leadership accountability to functional and specialist roles in the field through leading consistent development and accountability 1:1s and team meetings Support Field Operations and Operating Cadence
  • Provide real-time policy and process support and resource broker for leaders and advisors when operational questions arise in the field
  • Provide matrix leadership to field operations team members ensuring consistency and team satisfaction through clarity and quality control accountability
  • Lead preparation and follow-up for all field leadership meetings, quarterly reviews, and offsites, including agendas, presentations, reports, and post read summaries.
  • Partner in the annual business planning process, including the coordination of field related inputs for performance and compensation reviews.
  • Support calendar management and alignment for recurring operating rhythms across field leadership. Data & Reporting
  • Monitor key field execution and performance metrics (production, activity, recruiting growth, initiative adoption, etc.) to track progress and results.
  • Develop and maintain clear reporting tools and dashboards that provide leadership with visibility into execution status and field performance.
  • Translate performance data into actionable insights that highlight execution gaps, trends, and improvement opportunities. Teamwork
  • Partner with field leaders to act as a change agent, supporting consistent adoption and execution of growth initiatives across teams and markets.
  • Serve as the primary execution partner between field leadership and HQ teams, including Operations, Finance, Development, Compliance, and People.
  • Lead cross-functional coordination by aligning owners, clarifying responsibilities and handoffs, resolving dependencies, and driving on-time delivery of initiatives.
  • Represent field execution needs in HQ forums to ensure solutions are practical, scalable, and operationally feasible.
  • Build strong working relationships across the organization to enable collaboration, accountability, and fast problem-solving.
