About The Position

POSITION SUMMARY Position Summary: Provides leadership, direction, and administration of all aspects of the Environmental Services and Linen departments. Primary responsibilities include financial management, administrative functions including strategic and operational planning for the areas of responsibility, including staffing and directing Environmental Services and Linen staff. Provides mechanism for ensuring quality services, issue resolution, orientation, and ongoing competency of personnel. Responsible for planning and materials, equipment and supplies necessary for employees to perform their job and to provide competitive cost effective services to the departments and environment of SRHC. Maintains active communication among medical staff, health center leadership and staff. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Education Associates degree in business, management, or healthcare related field Bachelors degree in business, management, or healthcare related field preferred Minimum Experience Two years experience in Environmental Services or Housekeeping One year management experience Hospital safety committee experience preferred Required Registration/License/Certification None
