We are seeking a Director, Ecommerce Creative to join our global creative team with a focus on planning and execution of world-class digital ecommerce assets across our toy and game portfolio. This role sits at the intersection of brand storytelling, shopper behavior, and commercial performance. All of this with a goal of creating meaningful shopper experiences for our fans and consumers across the globe. Effective from the date that Hasbro opens its new Boston location, this position will be onsite Tuesday – Thursday at Hasbro’s new HQ location in Boston, MA. In the interim, this position will be onsite Tuesday –Thursday at Hasbro’s HQ in Pawtucket, RI or at Hasbro’s temporary location in Boston, MA. A Day In The Life as a Director, Ecommerce Creative: You will build and lead a high-performing, cross-functional team responsible for creating best-in-class ecommerce content and experiences that build desire, drive consideration, and convert sales at scale. Partnering closely with Brand, Commercial, and Global Marketing Teams, you will help shape how Hasbro toys and games show up across digital shelves worldwide.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience leading cross-functional creative or content teams within a digital ecommerce environment.
  • Background in strategic planning, content strategy, and digital merchandising for consumer products or manufacturing brands.
  • Proven experience building and optimizing PDPs that drive conversion and commercial performance.
  • Experience in toys or consumer products brands operating a house of brands structure is a must
  • Deep understanding of ecommerce content ecosystems, including AEO/SEO, platform requirements and shopper behavior.
  • Hands-on experience with modern asset creation methods, including AI-driven tools, digital rendering and photography.
  • Strong point of view on how ecommerce creative should evolve to meet future shopper expectations.
  • Demonstrated success driving continuous process improvement in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment.
  • Comfortable operating in agile, sprint-based models with multiple stakeholders and shifting priorities.
  • Highly collaborative leader with the ability to influence senior partners without direct authority.
  • Curiosity about what’s next, especially in tech, AI and new modes of creative expression.
  • A positive attitude with a “get-stuff-done” mindset.
  • The ability to work in-person three days a week from our future Boston HQ.

Responsibilities

  • Team & Capability Building
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a cross-functional team of ~15 spanning SEO, content strategy, copywriting, digital merchandising, and graphic design.
  • Foster a culture of experimentation, continuous improvement, and accountability grounded in performance outcomes.
  • Champion new ways of working, including agile sprint models and rapid test-and-learn cycles.
  • Retail & Platform Excellence
  • Drive platform-specific excellence across our biggest retailers Amazon, Walmart, Target, and other key global retail partners.
  • Ensure creative assets are optimized for discoverability, relevance, and conversion through strong content architecture, SEO and AEO.
  • Stay ahead of platform evolution, translating new tools, formats, and requirements into creative opportunity.
  • Innovation & Production
  • Lead the adoption of modern asset-creation approaches, including AI-enabled workflows, digital rendering and photography.
  • Balance speed, quality, and cost through smart production planning and reusable asset frameworks.
  • Partner with operations and production teams to continuously improve throughput and efficiency.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership
  • Collaborate closely with brand and global commercial teams to align creative priorities with business goals.
  • Influence senior stakeholders in a highly matrixed organization, building trust through clarity, expertise and results.
  • Translate business and shopper insights into creative strategies that deliver measurable impact.
