About The Position

We’re building a Digital Center of Excellence (CoE) to unify brand, technology, and data, creating shared standards that accelerate decisions and results across Masco’s business units. The Director, Digital Strategy will speak tech and understand marketing, lead across multiple brands, and dive into data to drive measurable success in a consumer durables environment. You’ll design the CoE, set best practices for our enterprise marketing technology stack, Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), elevate social and ratings/reviews programs, and lead enterprise measurement for robust, data‑driven conversations. This role requires building trust with BU Digital Champions, CIOs, tech partners, and Procurement, making tough calls that move Masco forward.

Requirements

  • 15+ years in digital marketing/commerce; multi‑brand leadership; technology experience; consumer durables preferred.
  • Proven best practice builder with hands‑on delivery experience.
  • Practitioner depth in social, ratings/reviews, retail media/search, SEO/AEO; tools include Salesforce, Sprout Social, SEMRush, Bazaarvoice, Stackline, Bynder, Salsify, Profitero, or related tools.
  • Strong data literacy and dashboarding skills; ability to influence in decentralized environments.
  • Familiarity with AI governance and enterprise change leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Build the Digital Marketing CoE: Define operating model, intake, and SLAs; lead Digital Champions network and roadmap cadence, along with establishing Communities of Practice across the enterprise.
  • Martech: Audit current technology platforms across the enterprise; work with CIOs and Procurement to harness the scale of Masco to gain efficiencies, and streamline tools and contracts. Negotiate shared platform agreements as needed.
  • Digital marketing excellence: Create SEO/AEO playbooks; set standards for social listening and ratings/reviews using tools like Sprout Social and Bazaarvoice.
  • Commerce & content: Partner to drive digital shelf optimization, retailer syndication, and strengthen DAM/PIM operations. Also leading guidelines in CRM and Loyalty.
  • Data & measurement: Implement common dashboards; operationalize martech data pipelines (e.g., Profitero), partnering to define audience data measurement and activation.
  • AI & change management: Govern AI workflows per Masco’s AI Council; lead adoption, activate and publish success stories.
