About The Position

Build and run the Developer GTM engine for APAC. You’ll set the plan, run the cadence, and act as the in-region proxy for our global Directors (Solution Strategists, Solution Architects, Technical Success). You’ll help recruit exceptional talent, keep standards high, and turn usage into durable revenue while keeping developers’ experience front and center on Cloudflare’s global network.

Requirements

  • Builder with range: 10+ years across developer platforms (solutions/pre-sales, technical success, or commercial architecture), including 4+ years leading managers in APAC.
  • Technically credible: Comfortable reviewing designs, code-level tradeoffs, and reference architectures; peers with Directors of SAs/Technical Success.
  • Commercially fluent: Strong grasp of consumption pricing, commits, proposals, and approvals; partners naturally with Sales, Finance, Legal.
  • Operator, not theorist: You design operating models, write crisp narratives, and drive execution across ANZ, SEA, Japan, Korea, and India.
  • Clear communicator: Concise writer and presenter, from developer ICs to C-level; excellent cross-cultural leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Own the APAC plan and number: activation, expansion, pipeline, bookings.
  • Run the cadence: weekly usage radar, pipeline triage, stuck-deal unblock, strategic deal reviews (with win/loss).
  • Be the in-region proxy: align proposals/packaging/“give-get”; route approvals with Finance/Legal; enforce AE handoffs.
  • Turn launches into pipeline: partner with Marketing & DevRel to land programs that produce PQLs and verified deployments.
  • Enable the field at scale: publish workload playbooks, talk tracks, calculators; drive adoption with Sales leaders.
  • Act on telemetry: surface next-best actions, expansion paths, and strategic accounts; focus resources where impact is highest.
  • Recruit and develop talent: hire great managers/ICs, set clear goals, coach for performance.
  • Remove blockers fast: security/legal, deal desk, product gaps, own the escalation path.
  • Close the loop: deliver quantified pricing/packaging/roadmap signals to Product/PMM and track $ impact.
  • Forecast with precision: call risks and upside early; communicate clearly to regional Sales and HQ.
