About The Position

The Director, Go to Market Analytics is a visionary leader responsible for building and governing the data, reporting, and insights foundation that powers strategic go-to-market decisions. This leader ensures a trusted single source of truth and delivers executive-ready dashboards and deep-dive analyses. By partnering with the business, they will drive forecasting discipline and performance management, advance experimentation, and build advanced analytics to surface growth levers across the funnel. This role owns the GTM data strategy and governance across CRM, Marketing Automation Platform, CPQ, Customer Success, and finance-adjacent systems, while maintaining a unified data model and KPI definitions. Reporting to the Sr Director, Revenue Operations, the Director, Go to Market Analytics will collaborate with cross-functional teams across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, Product, HR, Channel Partners, and IT to ensure their insights and data-driven strategies align with Paychex's broader strategic objectives for sustained success and market leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Related Field - Required in
  • 10+ years of experience in Analytics, BI, or data leadership roles supporting Sales, Marketing, or Customer Success organizations.
  • 5 years of experience in Senior-level or executive-level leadership.
  • 5 years of experience in Proven experience building scalable data models and governance frameworks across multiple GTM systems.
  • 3 years of experience in HCM industry.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain a scalable data warehouse, integrating multiple sources to ensure accuracy, accessibility, consistency, minimal downtime, and low latency.
  • Create standardized dashboards for executives, managers, and frontline users, driving adoption through thorough documentation and training programs.
  • Lead forecasting methodology and models in partnership with Sales leadership and Finance, leveraging AI forecasting for unbiased accuracy.
  • Provide insights on pipeline health, conversion, cohort performance, product/segment trends, and attribution to guide strategic decisions.
  • Stand up self-service analytics and data literacy programs, including data dictionaries and business metadata, to empower business stakeholders
  • Run experiments and advanced analytics (e.g., propensity, pricing elasticity, churn risk) and translate findings into actionable strategies.
  • Institute data quality SLAs and stewardship processes with upstream system owners, monitoring completeness, timeliness, and accuracy.
