About The Position

The Director, Corporate Partnerships is a self-starter and high-energy relationship builder responsible for generating $250K+ in new revenue and managing a portfolio of corporate partners. This role focuses on new business development, corporate engagement, financial forecasting, and partnership innovation to advance United Way of Greater Atlanta’s mission to improve child well-being. This is a fast-paced, sales-oriented role for someone who is hungry to succeed, coachable, collaborative, and results-driven.

Requirements

  • 5–7 years in corporate partnerships, business development, sales, or fundraising
  • Successful track record of meeting or exceeding revenue goals
  • Demonstrated strength in prospecting, pipeline development, and closing
  • Skilled communicator with strong presentation and negotiation abilities
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and revenue tracking tools

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a proactive prospecting strategy to identify, qualify, and close new corporate prospects annually.
  • Build and manage a high-volume sales pipeline, tracking activity, forecasting revenue, and ensuring consistent movement toward goals.
  • Cultivate long-term partnerships with corporate leaders, understanding their business needs, and aligning them with high-impact engagement opportunities.
  • Create and deliver compelling, value-driven pitches, presentations, and proposals that inspire investment.
  • Grow United Way’s small business programs - Business Impact Group and Building Resilient Entrepreneurs and serve as the Office of Development’s lead contact for partnership and revenue growth.
  • Collaborate across departments to deliver custom partnership experiences — volunteer activations, campaigns, sponsorships, and more.
  • Attend networking events, industry conferences, and company functions as needed to strengthen relationships, cultivate new partnerships, and represent the United Way of Greater Atlanta in the community.
  • Inject innovation and creative thinking into every aspect of the sales cycle: new product ideas, new engagement pathways, and bold “What if we tried this?” concepts that differentiate the United Way in the corporate market.
