Director of Clinic Operations – Full Time Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital is a Critical Access Hospital, stand-alone, not-for-profit hospital located in Ste. What to expect as the Director of Clinic Operations: Provide strategic and operational leadership for all outpatient clinics and Rural Health Clinics (RHCs) Oversee daily clinic operations, ensuring efficiency, consistency, and strong performance Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to healthcare standards and policies Drive improvements in patient experience, quality of care, and service delivery Partner with Clinic Managers to support high-quality operations while addressing each clinic’s unique community needs Standardize workflows, policies, and best practices across clinics to improve efficiency and staff support Monitor and enhance clinic performance metrics and operational outcomes Collaborate with executive leadership and clinical leaders to support provider productivity and overall clinic success Does not oversee clinician contracts or recruitment, but works closely with leadership to align operational goals

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Nursing, or a related field required; equivalent relevant work experience considered
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive healthcare operations experience, including significant experience in ambulatory or clinic settings
  • Proven experience leading managers and multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong understanding of rural healthcare operations and Rural Health Clinic (RHC) environments

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • Experience working in a Critical Access Hospital and/or Rural Health Clinic (RHC) setting preferred
  • Knowledge of RHC regulations, reimbursement, and operational requirements preferred
  • Experience with Lean, process improvement, or quality improvement initiatives preferred
