As a Director of Client Insights, this role supports the US arm of a global Beauty & Wellbeing, Personal Care, Food, and Home Care client with internationally recognized brands. The focus is on empowering client teams through training and tool adoption, identifying market-making opportunities, and contributing to thought leadership. The Director will serve as a strategic partner to client users across brand, marketing, and category management, helping them self-serve and uncover insights using Circana’s analytic platforms. The role also acts as a catalyst for growth by connecting data, insights, and storytelling to business decisions, offering strong ownership and impact for those who enjoy cross-functional collaboration, data translation, and deepening expertise in pricing, trade, and business driver modeling.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience working with syndicated data tools such as Circana/IRI, NielsenIQ, or similar platforms in analytics, category management, or related fields.
  • Experience in marketing, sales, analytics, and/or technology within a premier CPG company or organizations using syndicated POS and panel data.
  • Background in consumer elasticity, pricing, and/or promotional modeling.
  • Proven ability to translate analytic outputs into compelling, actionable insights for senior stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Unify, Tableau, Power BI, or similar visualization platforms.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Strong consultative, interpersonal, and client‑enablement skills.
  • Strong project management and organizational capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Drive client growth by identifying and pursuing opportunities that align Circana’s data and software solutions to client strategic priorities.
  • Deliver insight‑led solutions by translating complex data into actionable recommendations with measurable business impact.
  • Lead and/or support end‑to‑end sales processes, including needs assessment, solution design, and closing, in partnership with internal teams.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with Client Insights, Product, Analytics, and other partners to deliver integrated, high‑value solutions.
  • Maintain industry expertise by staying current on retail, CPG, and consumer trends to position Circana as a trusted advisor and thought leader.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders, including senior decision‑makers and influencers.
  • Leverage Circana’s proprietary platforms such as Unify+, Liquid Data, Price & Trade Advantage, and Business Value Drivers to support client engagement and solution delivery.
  • Meet or exceed revenue targets through disciplined pipeline management and strategic account planning.
  • Champion client success by proactively addressing challenges, identifying growth opportunities, and delivering consistent value.
  • Conceive, manage, and deliver advanced, fact‑based analyses focused on consumer solutions, clearly translating insights to inform strategy.
