About The Position

AmTrust Financial is seeking a highly organized, strategic, and execution-focused Director to support the Claims and Litigation Strategy & Analytics teams. This role will serve as a trusted advisor, project leader, and operational partner, helping drive strategic initiatives, manage cross-functional projects, and ensure alignment across the Claims Analytics organization.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
5+ years of experience in project management, strategy, operations, or analytics, ideally within insurance or financial services.
Experience leading cross-functional teams in process improvement and technology integration projects.
Ability to translate complex business needs into actionable solutions and measurable outcomes.
Strong understanding of claims operations and analytics is a plus.
Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Expertise in business process mapping tools (e.g. Visio, Lucidchart), in performing root cause analysis to identify operational pain points and designing future state workflows aligned with business goals.
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Asana, Smartsheet, Jira) and data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

Responsibilities

Partner with executive leadership to define and execute strategic priorities across Claims Analytics and Claims Litigation.
Prepare executive-level presentations, reports, and communications for internal and external stakeholders.
Facilitate quarterly planning, goal setting, and performance tracking.
Lead and manage high-impact projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocations; monitor progress and resolve issues proactively.
Coordinate across Claims, IT, Data Science, and other departments to ensure seamless execution.
Document existing processes and develop strategic roadmaps for process transformation and technology enablement.
Drive process improvements and operational efficiencies within the Claims Analytics team.
Manage team workflows, meeting cadences, and internal communications.
Act as a liaison between the leadership team and internal/external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and follow-through.
Support vendor management, budgeting, and contract coordination as needed.
