Role Overview We are seeking a strategic and people‑centric capability builder to lead the adoption and maturation of our leader‑led Circana Operations’ core improvement systems—Complete Excellence— through Obeya, PDCA learning, and leadership behavior coaching. This role partners directly with T2 and T3 leaders to strengthen prioritization, cross‑functional problem‑solving, and weekly leadership routines that drive performance. It is designed for a coach who thrives in ambiguity, understands systems thinking, and can elevate leadership capability across a complex, global operations function. Success in the Role Includes Weekly T2‑owned Obeya meetings running with consistency, psychological safety, and exception‑based decision‑making. T2/T3 leaders demonstrate strong LSW habits (protected time, board‑walks, reflections). Enterprise-wide consistency in weekly pareto + #1 driver selection. Teams running ≥1 active PDCA, updating weekly learning, and advancing toward 2.4. A visible culture shift toward leader‑led problem solving and structured learning.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in coaching, leadership development, continuous improvement, or operational excellence roles.
  • Deep experience with PDCA, team coaching, and leadership routines.
  • Proven ability to influence senior leaders and drive behavior adoption.
  • Strong facilitation and interpersonal skills; ability to build trust quickly.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Lean, Shingo, Kata coaching, or systems thinking a strong plus.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and mature Obeya across value streams.
  • Coach T2 leaders in exceptions‑based thinking, prioritization, and decision‑making.
  • Facilitate PDCA spotlights, experiment framing, and cross-functional resolution.
  • Train and coach T3 leaders in facilitation, problem-solving, and behavioral routines.
  • Improve leader competence in PDCA, pareto interpretation, and weekly prioritization.
  • Reinforce LSW behaviors through side-by-side coaching and gemba-style observation.
  • Ensure teams create weekly reason codes and pareto analyses.
  • Drive PDCA learning: weekly updates, next steps, closing aged PDCAs.
  • Help leaders move teams from DMS 2.3 prioritization → DMS 2.4 learning and elimination.
  • Support value stream alignment in Obeya by connecting upstream/downstream issues.
  • Surface systemic blockers requiring T1 intervention.
