At LG, we strive to make Life Good for Everyone. The Director of Buy Group & Sales Operations Management leads LG’s Regional Buy Group business, including BrandSource and Nationwide. This role oversees program development, strategic relationship management with group leadership and member organizations, and full financial oversight of group programs. The Director ensures accurate and timely submission of all invoice claims into LG systems and drives alignment between LG’s internal teams and external partners. The Director plays a critical role in developing and executing sales operations strategies that support revenue growth, operational efficiency, and long‑term account success. Travel is required for regional meetings, group events, and LG’s spring and fall shows.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Supply Chain, Retail Sales, or related disciplines.
  • Strong understanding of promotional planning, financial management, and merchandising.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office; experience with planning or forecasting systems preferred.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with a high degree of independence and judgment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead LG’s BrandSource and Nationwide group business, including program development, execution, and performance tracking.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with group leadership and member organizations.
  • Develop annual promotional plans and calendars; align with internal teams and external partners.
  • Manage group program financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and claim submissions.
  • Drive revenue growth through strategic planning, merchandising alignment, and cross‑functional collaboration.
  • Lead the design and continuous improvement of sales operations processes to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and scalability across retail and buy group channels.
  • Simplify complex workflows by identifying bottlenecks, eliminating redundant steps, and standardizing procedures across teams and regions.
  • Develop and implement best‑practice frameworks for forecasting, demand planning, inventory management, and promotional execution.
  • Build consistent reporting standards, dashboards, and KPI tracking tools that improve visibility for sales leadership and cross‑functional partners.
  • Establish clear governance for promotional plans, pricing execution, and claim submissions to reduce errors and improve cycle time.
  • Partner with Supply Chain, Order Management, Planning, Product Line and Logistics to streamline communication flows and ensure operational readiness for all programs.
  • Drive adoption of standardized templates, communication formats, and planning tools to reduce variability and improve team productivity.
  • Evaluate and implement technology solutions that enhance data accuracy, automate manual tasks, and support long‑term operational efficiency.
  • Train sales and inside‑sales teams on operational best practices, ensuring consistent execution across all accounts and regions.
  • Monitor process performance and lead root‑cause analysis to proactively address recurring issues and improve overall operational reliability.
  • Communicate strategy and priorities across sales, supply chain, logistics, and planning teams.
  • Help develop and improve CPFR strategy with key accounts.
  • Partner with KAMs, Product Management, Financial Planning, SFM (Sales Program), and Logistics teams to execute group strategies.
  • Ensure continuous communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Create new promotional concepts that support LG’s strategic objectives.
  • Balance standardized processes with creative solutions tailored to group needs.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, communication flow, and program performance.
