Director, Business Development

Mehr ConsultancyIrving, TX

About The Position

Mehr Consultancy is an award-winning hotel management and investment firm headquartered in Dallas–Fort Worth. Founded by second-generation hoteliers, we manage a nationwide portfolio of 37 hotels across 16 states and 7 brands, with more than 4,200 rooms and 700+ associates. We're trusted by owners seeking more than management — delivering owner-aligned decisions, transparent operations, and people-first leadership. Joining Mehr means working directly alongside seasoned hospitality leaders on deals and projects that shape a rapidly growing portfolio, offering a seat at the table early in your career, real exposure to ownership-level decision-making, and the chance to build expertise across management, acquisitions, and investments within a collaborative, entrepreneurial culture that invests in its people. The Director, Business Development will support Mehr's growth initiatives across hotel management contracts, acquisitions, and investment opportunities, partnering closely with leadership to identify, evaluate, and close new clients in the hospitality sector. This is not a sales role focused on high-volume outreach or transactional wins. Instead, Mehr is looking for a trusted advisor who builds genuine, long-term relationships with hotel owners and investors by leading with insight, listening, asking sharp questions, and bringing analytical value. Business development at Mehr is a consultative craft where trust is earned by running numbers, understanding assets, and showing owners a clearer path forward, as deals follow relationships.
