About The Position

Michiana Behavioral Health, a UHS facility located in Plymouth, Indiana, provides comprehensive behavioral health treatment in a therapeutic, wooded setting. The Director of Business Development oversees Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service activities within the Business Development Department. This role is responsible for achieving desired utilization of the organization’s continuum of care through effective application of marketing principles and methods. As a member of the facility management team, the Director of Business Development is actively involved in strategic planning, sales and marketing management, identification of potential growth opportunities, future projects, changes in programming/protocols, recruitment, and retention. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related field required.
  • A valid Driver’s License is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Masters of Business Administration or related field highly preferred.
  • Prior marketing and/or sales experience within a behavioral healthcare setting preferred.
  • Five years minimum experience in organizational communications, referral development, workshop planning, sales management, and physician relationships preferred.

Responsibilities
