About The Position

GPW is searching for a Director, Business Development, focused on F&I insurance, to join its Business Development team made up of a diverse team of hardworking, bright, curious, and highly motivated employees. In this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding the company’s client engagement. You will work with the Business Development team in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building relationships with clients, and driving sales initiatives to achieve business targets. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or related field or the equivalent education and/or experience.
  • Five or more years of sales or business development experience.
  • Five or more years of F&I experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence decision-makers.
  • Strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and develop business plans.
  • Must have a high level of initiative, positivity, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced and high-demand work environment.
  • Must be highly organized, comfortable with change and ambiguity, solution-oriented, and resourceful.
  • Must have a strong work-ethic, and a high-level of personal integrity.
  • Knowledge of the industry and market trends, with the ability to anticipate client needs and proactively identify business opportunities.
  • Proficient in using Salesforce, Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software.
  • Willingness to travel as required for industry events and client meetings.

Responsibilities

  • Advise on service contract reinsurance within the Automotive segment as well as other segments.
  • Build and maintain relationships with prospective and existing lead-sources and clients.
  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, market trends and client needs to develop, execute, business strategies and plans.
  • Develop and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients, showcasing GPW and Beyond Risk’s products and services.
  • Participate in industry events, networking opportunities, and client meetings to promote GPW’s brand and develop business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless client experience.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop and implement effective campaigns to generate leads and increase brand awareness.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance and market trends, providing regular updates to the SVP of Business Development.
