About The Position

Talitrix is seeking a highly motivated, competitive, and disciplined Director of Business Development to lead revenue growth within an assigned geographic territory. This role is responsible for managing the full sales lifecycle from qualified opportunity through contract execution. The Director of Business Development works closely with Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) who generate and qualify leads, while this role leads the strategic sales process, product demonstrations, stakeholder engagement, proposal development, procurement navigation, and closing. The ideal candidate has experience selling SaaS solutions to government or enterprise organizations, understands complex procurement processes, and has a proven ability to manage long sales cycles and close high-value contracts. This role requires a strategic, results-driven mindset, strong relationship-building abilities, and the capability to clearly communicate the value of Talitrix’s integrated hardware and SaaS platform to public safety agencies.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years of business development or sales experience
  • Experience selling SaaS solutions, technology platforms, or enterprise software
  • Experience selling to government agencies (B2G) or enterprise organizations (B2B) strongly preferred
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding revenue quotas
  • Experience managing complex sales cycles and government procurement processes
  • Strong presentation, demonstration, and negotiation skills
  • Experience working within CRM platforms such as Salesforce
  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Ability to work in office at Talitrix headquarters in Alpharetta, GA
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings, conferences, and trade shows

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage all business development activities within an assigned geographic territory
  • Develop and execute a territory strategy to drive SaaS platform adoption and revenue growth
  • Manage the full SaaS sales lifecycle, from SDR-qualified lead through opportunity development, proposal creation, procurement, and contract close
  • Convert qualified leads into active opportunities and advance them through the sales pipeline
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including law enforcement leaders, judges, procurement officials, corrections departments, and executive leadership
  • Establish trust and long-term partnerships with public safety agencies and enterprise clients
  • Conduct product demonstrations showcasing Talitrix’s wearable monitoring technology and software platform
  • Coordinate and manage field testing programs to demonstrate the effectiveness of Talitrix solutions
  • Conduct research to identify key decision makers including sheriffs, judges, clerks, prosecutors, and state agencies
  • Develop targeted strategies to address the operational and compliance needs of each agency
  • Navigate government procurement processes including RFPs, pilots, and purchasing contracts
  • Lead negotiations and drive deals to successful close
  • Maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities and manage accurate forecasting through Salesforce CRM
  • Consistently meet or exceed quarterly revenue and pipeline generation targets
  • Represent Talitrix at industry conferences, trade shows, and professional events
  • Travel throughout the assigned territory to build relationships and expand market presence
