About The Position

As the Director of Business Development, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of MeridianLink’s Demand Generation initiatives. You will be responsible for spearheading pipeline generation efforts, leading a team of highly motivated Business Development Representatives (BDRs), and fostering strong partnerships with the Sales and the Marketing team. Your strategic vision, leadership abilities, and expertise in SaaS business development will be instrumental in expanding market presence and driving revenue growth for MeridianLink.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of at least 5 years in Business Development within the SaaS industry.
  • Demonstrated experience in successfully leading and motivating a team of business development professionals.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS business models, market trends, and customer needs.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a proven ability to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using data-driven insights to inform business decisions.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and ever-evolving startup environment.
