The Director, Branch Operations oversees the execution of strategic initiatives and activities to ensure branch operations meet organizational goals. This includes leadership over key operational areas such as training, project oversight, auto travel, branch administration, project management, and vendor relations. This role manages a team of employees, providing direction, coaching, and performance oversight. The Director actively seeks to improve efficiencies, streamline processes, and enhance overall operational effectiveness across the department. Additionally, the Director assists in establishing, managing, and monitoring department budgets, ensuring financial responsibility and alignment with strategic business objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree Business Administration or other applicable field of study required
  • 10+ years Customer Service experience required
  • 6+ years Experience in retail or multi-unit mangement preferred
  • 4+ years Managerial and interdepartmental management experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the head of Branch Operations and Directors to develop and implement strategic plans and short/long-term goals for the department.
  • Provides vision and direction to the team, ensuring alignment with overall company and department objectives.
  • Works closely with other departments and teams to ensure effective communication and coordination of club, department goals /priorities/objectives?
  • Partners with leaders aligning strategies across the department.
  • Assists in supervision and overseeing the day-to-day activities of the training, project and other administrative (auto travel, project management, branch operations to include safety/security, compliance, vendor relationships departments.
  • Acts as a resource for, and provides guidance to the team as needed, identifies opportunities to optimize and create efficiencies within the department.
  • Assists with outside vendor relationships and strategic partnerships (TSA, AAA Tickets, EZ Pass, Wells Fargo).
  • Develops and implements strategies meant to assist the business in meeting its goals and objectives.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of projects to achieve objectives on time within budget, including but not limited to branch remodels, new branch builds, AAA National initiatives, Anti Money Laundering programs, TSA, and State DMV/RMV compliance, etc.
  • Analyzes branch performance metrics, identifies areas for improvement, and recommends/implements solutions working closely with Sr. Leadership.
  • Working with Human Resources/Safety Dept. ensures compliance with environmental health and safety regulations, labor laws, and company policies.
  • Conducts site visits to branch locations to assess facility conditions and evaluates operational effectiveness.
  • Collaborates with Directors and District Managers to ensure a consistent approach to branch operations across the footprint.
  • Develops and reviews policies and procedures that support club goals, fiscal responsibility, adherence to Club, State, and Federal, employment and Safety requirements.
  • Reviews procedural changes prior to implementation to assess feasibility and effectiveness in branch environment, all while providing a Five Diamond Service experience.
  • Develops and implements polices to safeguard cash assets and inventory at branch locations.
  • Oversees cash management procedures, as well as reporting and tracking systems., to support fiscal responsibility.
  • Continuously assess and enhances internal control processes to identify and address areas of opportunity for improvement.
  • Assists in the expansion of the Branch office network through working with VP, Branch Operations, Real Estate and Facilities on real estate selection and maintenance.
  • Evaluates physical location, accessibility, and labor market.
  • Identifies equipment and staffing needs, develops plans and schedules for execution.
  • Keeps abreast of industry trends and competition, making recommendations as needed.
