This role sits at the center of Golin's Chicago strategy team, running analytics for one of the biggest brands in the world (McDonald's). You'll own the work and the relationships - presenting to clients, driving measurement strategy, and making sure results actually impact the business.

Requirements

  • 6+ years in earned media and social analytics; PR agency experience required
  • Fluency in social listening and media monitoring platforms (Talkwalker, Meltwater, or similar)
  • Strong presenter - you can make data into a clear an interesting story for a variety of audiences
  • You think before you build: strategy first, dashboards second
  • Obsessed with the “so what?” that accompanies the data
  • Experience managing or mentoring junior analysts

Responsibilities

  • Primary role is to lead day-to-day analytics for McDonald's, setting the standard for quality and thinking for the McD’s measurement team
  • You’ll also work on other accounts in the agency to lead their measurement approach
  • Build and present measurement frameworks that connect earned and social media to real business outcomes
  • Be the analytics voice in the room with clients
  • Collaborate with planning, media, digital, and account teams, using data to inform our actions from planning to execution
  • Push the team to use AI and emerging tools before everyone else does
