Hope Haven of Northeast GA is seeking Direct Support Professionals who are reliable, have excellent communication skills, basic computer skills, work well within a team, can be a positive role model for the individuals they serve, has excellent time management skills, and enjoys improving the lives of the individuals we serve. The primary job responsibilities of the Direct Support Professionals include: Providing direct support services to individuals, including supervision and skill development consistent with individual choices and outcomes Maintaining documentation requirements involving individual and/or program record-keeping Assist the Home Coordinators and/or Case Coordinators with case management responsibilities Monitor and supervise the individuals in self-administrating medications Performs various other duties as may be assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Valid Driver's License and Vehicle Insurance
- Acceptable motor vehicle and criminal records report
- Reliable personal transportation
- Acceptable Pre-Employment Drug Screen
- 1 year of caregiving
Responsibilities
- Providing direct support services to individuals, including supervision and skill development consistent with individual choices and outcomes
- Maintaining documentation requirements involving individual and/or program record-keeping
- Assist the Home Coordinators and/or Case Coordinators with case management responsibilities
- Monitor and supervise the individuals in self-administrating medications
