About The Position

We are seeking a strategic and data-driven Director of Growth & Analytics to lead and scale the full-funnel growth strategy for Discount Mugs. This leader will be accountable for driving incremental revenue, improving profitability, and optimizing marketing investment across all channels, including ownership of go-to-market strategy, promotional planning, paid media execution, and marketing analytics. The Director will build and lead a high-performing, analytically rigorous team while developing forecasting models and performance frameworks that translate data into clear, actionable decisions. The ideal candidate brings a balance of strategic vision and operational depth, with a proven ability to optimize spend, implement measurement frameworks, and drive scalable, margin-conscious growth in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in marketing, e-commerce, media, and analytics
  • 5+ years managing and developing teams across multiple functions
  • Demonstrated success scaling paid media channels profitably
  • Deep expertise in full-funnel measurement, attribution, and marketing KPIs
  • Experience building cross-channel analytics and insights tools
  • Strong financial acumen with forecasting and scenario planning experience
  • Proven ability to implement new technology stacks and data analytics solutions at scale
  • Experience with a DTC or e-commerce-first B2B company
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to drive alignment across functions and levels

Responsibilities

  • Develop strategic frameworks, go to market, and multi-year investment plans to define and deliver commercial targets for Discount Mugs
  • Evolve & drive promotional strategy and execution to achieve desired demand, revenue and margin for the brand in coordination with other business units and support functions
  • Construct and maintain detailed roadmaps for marketing capabilities (resources, data, technology) required to support growth goals.
  • Develop and own the overarching paid media strategy, identifying new channels, opportunities, and tactics to efficiently acquire high-quality customers at scale
  • Manage and optimize a significant paid media budget with accurate forecasting and ROI-driven allocation across Paid Search, Paid Social, other digital and emerging channels
  • Collaborate with UX/UI, Organic, Lifecycle, creative teams and agencies to execute high-impact campaigns across the full funnel
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends to maintain a competitive edge
  • Ensure all campaigns comply with relevant advertising guidelines and regulations
  • Lead full-funnel analytics to guide media strategy, channel allocation, acquisition efficiency, and retention performance
  • Define and manage marketing measurement frameworks, incrementality testing, and KPI standards tied to commercial objectives
  • Build and maintain standardized dashboards that provide a single source of truth for marketing performance — spanning digital and offline channels
  • Develop & refine attribution models to ensure accurate measurement of paid media effectiveness across the funnel
  • Expand marketing models & investment approaches to include available capacity, inventory and margin to maximize ROI and avoid wasted demand
  • Partner with FP&A on budget planning, spend forecasting, and scenario modeling
  • Assess and implement tools that strengthen the marketing data strategy and insights practice
  • Ensure strong data infrastructure, accuracy, and hygiene in partnership with IT and other relevant functions & resources
  • Build clear, executive-ready dashboards connecting go to market activities, traffic, marketing performance, website conversion, and operational capacity
  • Translate complex data into actionable growth strategies for senior leadership
  • Serve as a Discount Mugs business leader and marketing subject matter expert for cross functional teams and commercial processes
  • Lead and develop a team of 3+ direct reports, fostering a culture of curiosity, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Create individual development plans that advance team members' careers and align with business objectives
  • Recruit top talent and build team capabilities to support the organization's growth trajectory
  • Support annual & multi-year organizational planning to enable business growth
