About The Position

The Service Line Division Director Neurosciences is responsible for developing and meeting the goals of the Neuroscience Service Line of UF Health Jacksonville. This position will collaborate with executive leadership of UF Heath Jacksonville, UF College of Medicine Jacksonville, and University Florida Jacksonville Physicians, Inc. (UFJPI) to provide overall leadership, strategic growth and operational effectiveness in meeting established goals. Provide support and alignment with physicians and clinicians in developing internal and external provider relationships that strengthen seamless and innovative care delivery and achieve preferred provider status and market leader throughout the Service Line Network continuum of care; with measured outcomes in clinical quality, access, service delivery, financial performance and customer experience.

Requirements

• Possess strong self-motivational skills and be able to function independently in a matrixed organization.
• Demonstrated excellent strategic planning, business development, physician relations, project management and business acumen.
• Proven communications, interpersonal relations and team building skills.
• 6+ years progressive management experience in healthcare with in-depth knowledge specific to clinical program areas and experience in working in a physician matrix leadership structure.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field (business administration, allied health, healthcare administration, nursing, etc.)
• An MBA or a Master's degree in Health Care Administration or Health Services Administration.
• Experience in an innovative, multi-site network integrated health system.
• Physician and medical group alignment and integration experience.
