About The Position
The Div Dir Quality provides executive oversight for quality and patient safety functions including: clinical risk management, performance improvement, quality management, data analysis, patient safety, and accreditation. The Div Dir Quality provides strategic and operational leadership for improving patient safety and quality across the organization. As a member of the senior leadership team the Div Dir Quality participates in decision making with leaders from the Governing Body, Medical Staff and hospital leadership. The Div Dir Quality oversees all patient safety and quality initiatives for UF Health Jacksonville.
Requirements
- Master's degree
- Ability to quickly assess and act on new concepts, trends and initiatives
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
- Effective group and project management skills
- Understanding of clinical and business process improvement methods
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to tolerate ambiguity and multi-organization complexity
- Indepth Knowledge of TJC and CMS standards
- Over 5 years complex hospital or multi- hospital leadership in quality, patient safety, risk management and accreditation
Nice To Haves
- undergraduate clinical curriculum (nursing, medicine, pharmacy)
- Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality or American Society for Quality
- Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt
- RN or MD
