The Director of Clinical Access Operations is responsible to support and sustain the mission and vision of the organization through aligning multiple clinical/operational departments within the Clinical Practice Group while fostering interdepartmental collaboration in the development of high-quality experiences and efficient operations across the continuum for our patients. This role is responsible for the management of ambulatory initiatives including managing of major initiatives and programs being conducted across the ambulatory enterprise along with process improvement initiatives. This role will be a key strategic thought partner with Children's Mercy leaders and the single point of contact for projects overseen by this role. The Director of Clinical Access Operations will maintain a systematic approach to sizing opportunities, developing business cases and supervising implementation. This leader will develop business relationships and communication strategies to drive operational transformation. The Director of Clinical Access Operations uses knowledge of healthcare environments, management consulting skills, innovation frameworks, processes optimization skills, change management and continuous improvement methodologies, measurements, and tools to analyze issues, develop and implement solutions and drive operational transformation within ambulatory.
