What You’ll Do: As a Dining Supervisor, your responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Maintain and ensure that service standards within the daily operations of the dining room are met Perform routine duties and serve as a role model for the team Fill in as needed in all areas to help ensure effective dining room functioning Supervise wait staff, utility staff, and dietary aides to ensure that all work group assignments are completed in accordance with department standards Assist the Director in coordinating catering services and wait staff to handle catering activities Orient new team members per department standards, ensuring they have all the information and support needed to be successful in their roles Communicate with team members through various means including messages, regular team meetings, and daily stand-up meetings Ensure timely updates to Point of Service systems Implement and enforce all sanitation standards that comply with local, state, and federal regulations Ensure that all equipment, utensils, and dining areas are clean and orderly, meeting health and safety requirements Ensure residents' preferences (likes and dislikes) are honored at all meals served to Assisted Living and Nursing Units Ensure that wait staff observe and fulfill the needs of residents in a timely and pleasant manner Support and participate in the Cultural Change concept of care to enhance residents' quality of life Perform other duties as assigned, including participation in committees such as QAPI or safety on an as-needed basis Required: Experience in dining services or food service management Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and supervise a team Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff Understanding of sanitation standards and food safety regulations Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining a high level of service quality Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively Must be able to speak, read, and write in English to effectively communicate and complete required tasks, including training and documentation Preferred: Previous supervisory experience in a dining services or restaurant environment Experience working with older adults, particularly in a healthcare or long-term care setting Knowledge of Point of Service (POS) systems Ability to train and mentor new team members Apply Now! Requirements

Experience in dining services or food service management
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and supervise a team
Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff
Understanding of sanitation standards and food safety regulations
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining a high level of service quality
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
Must be able to speak, read, and write in English to effectively communicate and complete required tasks, including training and documentation

Nice To Haves

Previous supervisory experience in a dining services or restaurant environment
Experience working with older adults, particularly in a healthcare or long-term care setting
Knowledge of Point of Service (POS) systems
Ability to train and mentor new team members
